Frequently Asked

Questions real agents ask.

If yours isn't here, email agents@offercopilot.ca — a human replies, usually same day.

Is OfferCopilot a CRM?

+

No. It's a workflow for the offer itself — capture the listing, build the offer, auto-fill the forms, send to the lawyer. We intentionally don't try to be your CRM, your lead-gen tool, or your pre-listing dashboard. You already have one of those and you don't need another.

Which MLS sites does the Chrome extension work on?

+

Today: realtor.ca, REALM (the matrix system used by TRREB), condos.ca, HouseSigma, and Zolo. If your brokerage uses a private MLS portal we haven't covered, let us know — most of the TRREB-area portals share data shapes and are a couple of days of work to add.

Does the AI ever make things up?

+

The offer wizard is deterministic — the AI's role is to suggest text (clauses, disclosures, condition wording) and extract data (from listings, uploaded pre-approval letters, status certificates). You see every suggestion before it's saved, and generated forms are filled from structured data — not from free-form AI output. The due-diligence copilot cites its sources for every finding so you can verify.

What OREA forms are supported?

+

Form 801 (Agreement of Purchase and Sale), standard schedules A through D, BRA (Form 300), Confirmation of Cooperation (Form 320), and common disclosure schedules. Lease offers and amendment forms are next on the roadmap.

Can my whole brokerage use it?

+

Yes — the Brokerage tier includes team management, firm-wide offer visibility for brokers of record, and audit-log exports for compliance. During the pilot we're working directly with a handful of Ontario brokerages; we'd rather get onboarding right than mass-sign.

How do clients get onboarded?

+

You send a magic link from your dashboard. They open it on their phone, complete a four-step intake (identity, employment, financing, preferences), and upload their BRA, ID, and pre-approval letter. You get a signed BRA and a verified client record — no back-and-forth.

Do I still need my e-signature tool?

+

Yes. OfferCopilot generates signature-ready PDFs; you sign them through DocuSign, SignNow, Authentisign, or whatever your brokerage requires. We don't replace e-sign; we replace the three hours of typing that comes before it.

Is my client data safe?

+

Client data is stored in Firestore on Google Cloud in Canadian regions (northamerica-northeast2, Toronto). Access is scoped per-agent; the brokerage admin sees their team's data only. We don't sell data, we don't train third-party models on your clients, and we can sign an NDA / DPA before you onboard.

What if OREA updates a form?

+

We track OREA releases and push updated templates within a week of publication. You'll see a notification in-app; in-flight offers continue on the form version they started on so nothing breaks mid-deal.

What's the pilot commitment?

+

Month-to-month. Cancel anytime. We do ask pilot brokerages for one onboarding call and occasional feedback — you're helping us build it, and that's worth a cup of coffee once a month.
