OfferCopilot is now in ChatGPT
OpenAI has approved the OfferCopilot plugin, and it is live in ChatGPT today. If ChatGPT is already open on your laptop or phone, you can now ask it about your deals and get answers from your OfferCopilot account.
What you can ask
The plugin reads the same deal file OfferCopilot shows you, so the answers are about your deals, not real estate in general.
- “What needs my attention today?” A briefing on your open deals: the stage each is at, what is waiting on whom, and the next deadline, such as the irrevocable date or a condition.
- “Who still hasn’t signed the offer on 42 Elm?” Each signer on the package and whether they have signed.
- “What does the Patel file still need?” What the client still owes, such as photo ID or a mortgage pre-approval.
- “Add Maria Chen as a buyer, maria.chen@example.com.” A new client on your list.
- “Start an offer for the Chens on MLS W1234567 at $1,050,000 with a $50,000 deposit.” A link that opens the OfferCopilot wizard with the listing, the client and those terms filled in. You finish the offer there.
- “Re-send the signing invite on the Chen offer.” ChatGPT lists who the invite goes to and asks before it sends.
What it can’t do
ChatGPT can’t sign an offer and it can’t send one for signature. Every offer is finished, checked and sent by you in OfferCopilot.
Before anything is emailed, ChatGPT has to show you who it goes to and get your yes. OfferCopilot refuses the send unless it carries the addresses you approved. The emails it can send are OfferCopilot’s own messages: a signing reminder, a request for documents a client still owes, deposit instructions, or news that a sign-back arrived or the offer was accepted.
You choose what it can do
When you connect, OfferCopilot shows a consent screen with four permissions:
| Permission | What it allows |
|---|---|
| Read my deals | Deal status, signers, deadlines and what clients still owe |
| Add clients | New clients on your list |
| Save draft offers (never sends or signs) | A draft saved to your account, after ChatGPT reads the terms back to you |
| Remind signers, email clients and mark offers received | The emails above, and noting that the listing side received your offer |
Only “Read my deals” is ticked to start. The consent screen also tells you that the client information ChatGPT reads goes to chatgpt.com, under OpenAI’s terms rather than OfferCopilot’s. Connect it only if your brokerage allows it.
You can see every connected assistant under Profile, AI Preferences, AI Agent Access, and disconnect any of them there. Turning the access switch off disconnects them all.
